1970's Laney Super 100 watt PA

1972 Laney Super Sound 100 watt PA amplifier in absolutley mint condition.

This 6 channeled, 100 watt beauty is from Laney’s ‘Super Group’ era & I can’t belive how clean this amp looks after 50+ years. It has the beautiful white ‘plexi’ front in almost perfect condition, just with the slightest crack in the top right corner (see pics), but otherwise comes with huge partridge transfomers, a full set of 70’s Brimar EL34’s & a mix of 60’s Brimar & Mazda 12AX7s in the preamp.

These amps are fantastic value, especially when you compare them against the 4 channel PA or 2 channel guitar amplifiers from the same series. The only difference between this & the others is the ‘console’ style control panel, a different preamp to the guitar version, a tube buffered FX loop (a definite bonus) & the larger size cabinet.

The design of the power amp,build quality and components is exactly the same throughout the series, giving you vintage Laney goodness without the vintage prices & an amazing base for modding & customisation.

Due to the rarity of the plexi fronted amps and the condition this one is in, we are selling this ‘as is’, however, we do have another of these from the slightly later ‘Klipp’ series which we’ll be looking to modify to be 3 channeled, clean, super-group & Klipp amp.
